Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and supporting SAP BASIS operations, ensuring optimal performance of our systems, handling system upgrades, and providing support for SAP applications. They should have a deep understanding of SAP architecture, database management, and have strong troubleshooting skills.

We value strong problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate across teams, excellent communication, and attention to detail. Prior experience working with multicultural clients and teams across time zones is highly desirable.

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands on knowledge on SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, PO, CRM, NetWeaver Technology support
• Must be good at communicating and be a team player.
• Ability to handle client interactions independently.
• Proactive attitude towards work.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience on Linux scripting and Windows platform.
• SAP system copies for ABAP and Java based systems.
• Experience in applying EHP upgrade, Support pack upgrade, Kernel Upgrade etc.
• Exposure to non-SAP technologies – Apache tomcat/Tableau/Track wise.
• Experience in installing and configuring Solution Manager.
• Take responsibility for the installation, implementation, upgrade, and support of all components of the SAP
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and database teams to ensure system availability and performance.
• Monitor and optimize SAP system performance, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day Basis activities including:
  • Transport Requests management.
  • File transfers and support for peripheral systems.
  • Organize system restarts & outages.
  • Daily health checks.
• You should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks.
• Excellent coordination skills necessary with other functional, technical consultants and business offshore and onsite team.
• You should have good experience in the application of standard software development principles.
• Should have experience in working in Production support environment – time bound (SLA based) incident resolutions.

Preferred Certifications (Optional):

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP BASIS or HANA Administration
• SAP NetWeaver Certification
