Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Team Lead to join our onsite client engagement team in Vadodara. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional or technical SAP expertise, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to drive end-to-end support and enhancement activities in a client-facing environment. This role involves leading a team, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality SAP service delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day SAP support and enhancement activities across multiple modules.
• Manage and mentor a team of SAP consultants; oversee task allocation, delivery timelines, and performance tracking.
• Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) between the client and offsite/onsite delivery teams.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Review and validate functional/technical specifications, configurations, and testing deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, documentation standards, and change management procedures.
• Proactively identify, escalate, and resolve critical issues in coordination with client IT and management teams.
• Conduct regular review meetings with client stakeholders and internal leadership.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, maintain proper documentation, and support cross-training initiatives within the team.

Must have Skills:

• Strong understanding of SAP business processes and cross-module integration points (e.g., MM-SD, SD-FI, PP-MM).
• Hands-on experience in configuration, support, or enhancement delivery.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and client-facing skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and team performance under minimal supervision.

Good to Have Skills

• Understanding of SAP authorizations/security concepts.
• Knowledge of Fiori apps and SAP UI5 interactions for end-users.
• Basic understanding of ABAP debugging (for functional consultants) or integration tools such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI.
