Team Lead – US Accounting & Taxation

We are looking for Experienced Finance & Accounts professional with sound knowledge of Statutory compliances, financial Reporting, Direct & Indirect taxes for position of “Team Lead – US Accounting & Taxation”.

In this role, you will help design and implement tax policies and strategies and evaluate managerial processes to ensure compliance with relevant statutes and regulatory codes. The position also requires tax planning and reporting, including the filing of federal & state corporate & personal tax returns. If you’re an analytical, detail-oriented candidate who enjoys solving complex problems, this might be the role you’ve been looking for.

Successful Candidate will be imparted in-depth training for a period of 3 months in US Taxation & Accounting Practices. He/ She is expected to obtain necessary certification & Competency level to lead a team of US Taxation & accounting practitioners.

Taxation Responsibilities:

  1. Lead & build the US Taxation & Accounting Team.
  2. Supervising members of the tax team to ensure that tax returns are completed correctly.
  3. Capable of recommending tax strategies that comply with laws and promote our company’s financial well-being.
  4. Ensure to follow the changes in tax regulations & laws. Informing management and staff of developments in tax legislation.
  5. Ensure timely submission of accurate tax returns, timely payments & preparation of  necessary reports.
  6. Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions.
  7. Manage and maintain the company’s tax database.
  8. Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits.
  9. Ensure you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to             federal, state, and local authorities.
  10. Offer support and guidance during audits.
  11. Evaluate tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.

Accounting Responsibilities:

  1. Monthly Closing of Statement of Accounts. Ensure Financial Statements are properly supported & reconciled
  2. Prepare Quarterly and Annual Financial Budgets for Companies. Also, contribute in preparing Corporate strategies
  3. Prepare various MIS Reports to provide insight into business operations and help management in decision making
  4. Prepare policies and procedures and implement strong financial and business controls
  5. Ensuring assistance in preparation and implementation of business planning
  6. Finalise the Books of Accounts & prepare Financial Statements in adherence to required laws for all companies
  7. Resolve Audit Queries & Liaison with Auditors, Government Agencies & Bank for statutory compliance

Qualification: Must be CA with at least 5 years of experience
