Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Jira Developer with strong expertise in Jira Cloud administration, automation, and integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and customizing Jira solutions to meet evolving business needs, while ensuring seamless integration with third-party tools and adherence to organizational standards. This role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Jira Configuration & Customization

• Configure, manage, and optimize Jira Cloud, including workflows, screens, issue types, fields, and permissions.
• Customize Jira workflows based on business requirements.
• Implement and manage Jira Automation rules for process optimization.
• Work with third-party Jira utilities such as ScriptRunner, Jira Miscellaneous Workflow Extensions, Live Fields, and similar plugins.
• Develop and maintain advanced JQL (Jira Query Language) queries for reporting and issue tracking.

Integrations & Data Management

• Integrate Jira Cloud with third-party on-premises applications such as qTest, Vera, and other enterprise tools.
• Utilize Xporter for data extraction, reporting, and exports.
• Ensure secure and reliable data flow between Jira and integrated systems.

Reporting & Dashboards

• Create and maintain Jira dashboards, reports, and filters to support operational and management needs.
• Provide actionable insights and metrics to stakeholders using Jira reporting capabilities.

Administration & Support

• Enforce Jira best practices and configuration standards.
• Troubleshoot Jira-related issues and provide ongoing support to users.
• Work independently, taking ownership of assigned tasks with minimal guidance.

Must have Skills Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience managing and configuring Atlassian Jira, specifically Jira Cloud.
• Strong experience with Jira Automation and complex workflow configurations.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • ScriptRunner
  • Jira Miscellaneous Workflow Extensions
  • Live Fields
  • Xporter
• Strong expertise in writing and optimizing custom JQL queries.
• Experience integrating Jira Cloud with on-premises and third-party applications.
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Atlassian Certified Jira Administrator (Preferred).
