Job Summary

The Chief of Staff to the CEO is a strategic leadership role responsible for supporting the CEO in driving organizational priorities, business growth initiatives, and operational excellence across the company.

This role acts as a strategic advisor, execution partner, and operational integrator between the CEO and leadership teams across technology, consulting, delivery, and business functions.

The Chief of Staff will work closely with the leadership team to ensure alignment across enterprise solutions, IT infrastructure services, managed services, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives, helping the organization scale its global service delivery model.

The role is designed as a future leadership pipeline position, where the selected candidate will be mentored directly by the CEO to prepare for executive leadership responsibilities including potential succession into the CEO role.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Orientation & Awareness

  • The Chief of Staff is expected to have a strong technology orientation and business understanding of IT landscapes, enabling effective collaboration with technical and delivery teams.
  • This role does not require deep hands-on expertise, but should demonstrate awareness, curiosity, and the ability to engage in strategic technology discussions.

Strategic Leadership

  • Drive strategic initiatives and ensure timely execution of CEO-directed priorities across business units.
  • Translate the CEO’s vision into executable strategic initiatives across delivery, technology, and operations.
  • Support long-term growth strategy including global delivery expansion, partnerships, and innovation initiatives.

Technology & Business Alignment

  • Work closely with leadership teams across Enterprise Solutions, IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Digital Transformation services.
  • Evaluate emerging technology trends and recommend opportunities for new service offerings or innovation.
  • Align technology strategy with business goals and market positioning.

Program & Delivery Governance

  • Oversee cross-functional technology programs and ensure alignment with company strategic objectives.
  • Monitor key delivery metrics including customer success, project profitability, and delivery performance.
  • Support PMO governance frameworks for enterprise implementation programs.

Executive Decision Support

  • Prepare executive dashboards, reports, and business insights for the CEO and leadership team.
  • Support decision-making through business analytics, financial insights, and operational metrics.
  • Assist the CEO in evaluating strategic investments, partnerships, and new market opportunities.

Leadership Coordination

  • Act as liaison between the CEO and leadership teams across engineering, consulting, operations, and business development.
  • Facilitate leadership meetings and strategic reviews.
  • Ensure alignment and accountability across departments.

Operational Excellence

  • Identify process improvements to improve efficiency across delivery, operations, and internal systems.
  • Support implementation of enterprise governance practices, KPI frameworks, and operational metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent the CEO’s office in strategic discussions with partners, customers, and internal leadership teams.
  • Support preparation of executive communication for board meetings, investor discussions, and leadership forums.

Special Initiatives

  • Lead high-priority initiatives including digital transformation, new service offerings, AI adoption, and operational improvements.
  • Support business scaling initiatives such as offshore development centers, managed services expansion, and strategic partnerships.

Enterprise Technology & Platforms

  • Awareness of enterprise platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, or similar ecosystems
  • Understanding of how enterprise applications support business processes and digital transformation
  • Ability to engage with solution teams on high-level architecture and platform capabilities.

Cloud & Infrastructure (Conceptual Understanding)

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud from a business and delivery perspective
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure, managed services, and cloud-based delivery models
  • Awareness of scalability, cost optimization, and cloud adoption strategies

Cybersecurity & IT Governance (Awareness Level)

  • General awareness of cybersecurity principles and importance of frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, SOC2
  • Understanding of risk, compliance, and governance considerations in enterprise environments
  • Ability to align security considerations with business priorities

Software Development & Delivery Models

  • Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and SDLC concepts (from a program and governance perspective)
  • Understanding of how technology teams deliver products, platforms, and enterprise solutions
  • Exposure to SaaS, platform-based delivery, or digital product environments is beneficial

Data, Analytics & AI (Business Usage Focus)

  • Comfort working with dashboards and insights from tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Ability to interpret data for decision-making and executive reporting
  • Awareness of AI, automation, and data-driven transformation opportunities in business contexts
