Job Summary:

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will be independently responsible for the delivery of technical objects assigned to you. We are especially looking for candidates who have experience working closely with business stakeholders, clients, and functional SMEs, and who can independently drive technical solutions based on client requirements.

You should have strong hands-on experience in ABAP development along with exposure to SAP S/4HANA and RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model). You will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and senior technical team members to understand requirements and deliver quality technical solutions.

You will participate in technical design discussions, debugging, testing, and production support activities. You should be comfortable working on both traditional ABAP development and newer S/4HANA development approaches.

You should also guide and mentor junior ABAP developers, helping them translate business/functional requirements into clear technical design specifications and documentation.

We value strong problem-solving skills, the ability to collaborate across teams, excellent communication, and attention to detail. Prior experience working with multicultural clients and teams across time zones is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality ABAP/RAP technical objects independently.

• Mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to technical standards and documentation.

Must-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA including CDS views, oData, RAP and AMDP.
• Deep understanding of RICEF objects in both traditional and S/4HANA systems.
• Proficiency in Eclipse ADT and VS Code / Business Application Studio (BAS).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience/exposure with SAP Fiori (front-end and back-end development).
• Experience with S/4HANA implementation/support projects.
• SAP ABAP/S/4HANA certification.
