Job Description:

Lead SAP Product Costing and outsourced manufacturing cost optimization initiatives by leveraging SAP CO-PC, subcontracting processes, and advanced AI/ML tools to reduce Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and enhance margin visibility. This role will partner closely with IT, Finance, and Supply Chain teams across global operations.

Must Have Skills:

• 8–12+ years of deep hands-on experience in SAP Product Costing (CO-PC).
• Strong expertise in Outsourced Manufacturing/Subcontracting (MM, PP, CO integration).
• Demonstrated experience in standard costing, actual costing, cost rollups, WIP, variance analysis.
• Experience optimizing COGS, improving cost transparency, and supporting Finance month-end.
• Hands-on functional knowledge of BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Material Ledger, Cost Estimates.
• Ability to analyze and improve cost flows across procurement, manufacturing, and finance.
• Strong functional documentation skills and ability to lead workshops with global teams.

AI/ML Experience (Required)

• Candidate must have practical experience applying AI/ML to product costing or manufacturing, including one or more of the following:
• Cost prediction and forecasting using ML models.
• AI-driven cost anomaly detection and variance root-cause analysis.
• Simulation models to optimize product BOMs and supplier selection.
• Automation of cost rollups or reconciliation through AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Azure ML, SAP BTP AI).
• Experience integrating SAP data with ML/AI platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Product Costing and Outsourced Manufacturing processes in SAP ECC/S4HANA.
• Design and enhance cost estimation models, BOM/routing costing, subcontracting cost flows, and landed cost analysis.
• Build AI/ML–based cost prediction and cost anomaly detection models to proactively identify cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Support global manufacturing teams in cost rollups, actual costing, standard costing, and PP–CO integration.
• Optimize subcontracting processes including purchase price structure, material valuation, and inventory cost reconciliation.
• Collaborate with Finance to improve margin visibility, reduce variances, and automate cost audits.
• Partner with IT leaders to integrate AI/ML tools with SAP data (SAP BTP, Azure ML, Databricks, etc.).
• Deliver functional specifications for enhancements, integrations, and reporting automation.
• Lead testing (SIT, UAT), deployments, training, and hypercare for cost-related IT releases.
• Drive continuous improvement and automation of cost processes using generative AI and modern analytics.

Work Experience:

• 10–15 years overall IT/functional experience, with at least 8 years in SAP Costing.
• 3+ years working with outsourced/contract manufacturing models.
• 1–3 years applying AI/ML in manufacturing or finance domains.
