Primary Function of Position:
IT Project Manager is responsible for planning and execution of complex cross-functional projects associated with driving scalability in Business Application (Procure to Pay, Finance, Product & Engineering operations) and Shared services (DevOps + Application Support Services). Projects will span a broad range from implementation of new software systems, scale up for product launches, integration of acquisitions, system upgrades, facility expansions and system upgrades / systematic application patching.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support roadmaps for program/projects
- Gain cross-functional alignment on strategies, goals, resources, and timelines. Cross-functional teams include Finance, Manufacturing, Operations, Security, Applications, Infrastructure, IT, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, Field Service, Customer Service, and other Business Units.
- Work with Business project managers and business teams to drive project scope, business requirements, coordinate testing with business users, drive update of DOPs/SOPs/work instructions
- Partner with business PM and drive Organization Change Management – stakeholder analysis, communication plans, training material and end user training, solution adoption
- Ensure compliance to internal business and quality system requirements and to external regulatory standards
- Create project artifacts, such as project plans, measures, team and stakeholder communications, resource, and time management
- Manage the work of project-based resources and interactions with vendors, if required
- Ensure projects follow all company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
- Reviewing and approving Software Validation Plan (VP), Functional Specification documents (FS), Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), User Requirements Specification (URS), Functional Design Documents (FDD) for SAP or ERP projects
- Organize and lead core team and executive steering committee meetings
- Provide clear communication to the organization on project status, critical path, as well as potential areas of risk
- Drive resolution of constraints, conflicts and other challenges that could impact timely and successful execution of projects
- Drive prioritization of activities to ensure optimal utilization of resources
- Effective usage of project management methodology, tools & techniques

Skills Required:
- Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, software development management, software engineering, computer science, or a related field
- 7+ years of IT experience including 4+ years of experience in Project Management
- Onshore, client-facing experience across a variety of industries
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- SAP/ERP application knowledge beneficial
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Strong stakeholder management
- Good Business Change Management or Transformation skills
- Professional Certifications such as: ITIL, PRINCE2 or PMP
